Overview

The Table Rock Regional Roundup (TRRR) is a joint venture of the Arkansas Ophthalmological Society, the Kansas Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons, the Missouri Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons and the Oklahoma Academy of Ophthalmology.  It was formed to offer quality educational opportunities to ophthalmologists in the region and others from around the country.  Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 conference is being conducted online using an internet-based webinar platform.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of ophthalmologists and ophthalmology residents in training.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Discuss diagnostic and treatment options for key ophthalmic conditions, including giant cell arteritis, retina considerations in anterior segment surgery, and ophthalmic fungal conditions.
2. List various considerations for management of patients with the COVID-19 disease in the ophthalmology practice and medical center settings.
3. Describe factors involving risk management and patient interaction when utilizing telemedicine systems.

This activity is planned and implemented by Indiana Academy of Ophthalmology (IAO) and the Table Rock Regional Roundup Joint Venture. IAO is accredited by the Indiana State Medical Association to provide continuing education for physicians.

Credit Designation for Physicians – IAO designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Attendees are required to submit an electronic CME claim form upon completion the conference. This information will be provided to registered attendees at the time of the meeting.  Claim forms are backed up by the sign-in report generated by the webinar system.  In addition, all attendees will be asked to complete an electronic evaluation form to provide feedback on the learning objectives for the conference, the speakers and other relevant factors.
